The RAM 1500 is a light-duty truck with a hard steel frame and a maximum 12,750-pound towing capacity. The base engine is a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 305 horsepower, but there are three more engine options, including diesel.
You may choose from three cab options: regular, crew, quad, and three rear-seat configurations, which means you can carry up to six people. The base trim, the Tradesman, gives you the basics for completing the job, but you can customize it.
The RAM 2500 is a popular heavy-duty truck because of its impressive towing capacity, which varies by the engine. The standard engine is a 6.4-liter V8 HEMI with 410 horsepower and a 14,370 towing capacity with Crew Cab.
